I don't wanna wait.... for our lives to be over...

What to write... what to write... It seems as if my life has been fairly uninteresting for the last week or two. I'll take this as a sign to get out and find something new and exciting. If I haven't met you yet, we should meet. Or perhaps we could just go to some place I haven't been to before. Maybe I'll take up a hobby I haven't thought of yet.

My book reading has been moderately successful. I really enjoy Catch-22. It's been entertaining and quite thought provoking. On the surface you see a farsical cynisism of US government and buerocracy, however upon looking deeper one can find more truths than fairy tales within the story. The same story being related during a wwii era could easily translate into an accurate portrayal of today. I'll definately be checking out more Joseph Heller.

I finally registered for acouple classes over at PCC. So that's exciting. There's not much more to say about that.

Have you ever heard the phrase, "You never miss something until it's already gone?" It's the thought that seems to be running through my mind a lot lately. I want to see people more now that I think I ever really did before. I have greater appreciation for friendships that I didn't hold in the highest esteem before, simply because they were already there. I guess we all want what we can't have, but this is an awakening moment. To realize that I've wasted time on other friendships that could never maintain the same depth is a travesty to me. I wish I could go back and change some occurances. At the same time, however I understand that one could never experience happiness if they had not also experienced suffering. And so I take this tiem and experience for what it is; a moment for growth. A moment to mature into adulthood. While people are away I intend to make this a time to become more independant. I'll go out and do things on my own, because the time has passed for someone to hold my hand along the way.

And so ends the tale of Chris' blogging hiatus. As a sidenote, I'm going to try picking up linux. I'm downloading a copy of the fedora core 4. It should be exciting! Yeah, I'm a loser...

Or, you should just pick up a fedora. Those hats are slimey.
