Weekened Update

So this is the first entire weekend I've had off in about as long as I can remember. Doesn't really matter I suppose, I don't have any plans anyhow. Though it is giving me an opportunity to find some new tunes to jam to. Currently I'm jumping on board the M.I.A. train. Pretty groovy stuff. I'd recommend checking out her Kala album if you haven't already. Some crazy Hindi influenced experimental, electro pop-ish stuff. Also checking out a little TI and Slim Thug. Thuggin' out and whatnot.

Back in classes now. Got through the first week without dying. only nine or ten more to go. Think I might sign up for some fun classes over the summer too. A little supplemental bit and whatnot. I'm supposed to be writing up a rough draft for a paper, and man I'll tell you, that's a lot harder than I figured it'd be. Shouldn't have gotten out of the habit of writing...

Work's going pretty well. While it's definitely where I want to be in a year's time I do have a bit of flexibility and I'm doing a decent enough job where they'll keep me around without complaining.

trying to think of sme fun hobbies that I might enjoy. Lately, and particularly since I've quit my second job, I find myself with a bunch more time than I'm used to having. nothing particularly wrong with it, though I wish that I had something constructive to do with it. Perhaps I'm just being lazy though, there's more than likely a ton of stuff that I could be doing to fill the void in time. I'll be exploring this further as the week progresses. Maybe studying a new book. Been a while since I can remember reading anything good. Think I still Have some Camus lying around to read. The Plague speaks to me. Yes.

Also considering a trip to Canada this summer. I'd like to see that go through since I've never been out of the country before. Gonna have to scrounge some money together though, so we'll see how that pans out. Also if there's anyone who'd really like to tag along you should let me know. the more the merrier.
